The parish and surrounding areas have seen much in the way of recent proposals to develop a number of electricity power-related infrastructure projects – including local installation of wind farm turbinnes, an AC/DC converter station for the Berwick Bank windfarm, cabling for the Eastern Link project and the installation of a battery bank at Branxton.
Some of the companies involved in these projects have run some consultation events in the village hall. Some of these projects issue information on websites that are sometimes difficult to keep track of. This page has been developed to assist residents and other members of the community to access some of the additional information available.
